The freewheeling consortium blog about baseball, still hating George Bush, the weather, Chicago, live-blogging the End Times, the Chicago hot dog (NO KETCHUP!), inane rambling, and forever and always hating George Bush. ~ "Baseball is more than a game to me, it's a religion." -- Bill Klem, umpire. ~ "They're really behind ya around here..." -- Lee Elia, former manager ~

Now they know how it feels to be a regular fan. If but for a season. They need to multiply that by about 20 to really appreciate the experience of being a 'Cats fan.
And i don't think they've played the Cats since they lost to them. What was that, '95? Pathetic.
Yep, that was the last year and we were supposed to wait 10 years or something before scheduling them again. They never rescheduled us. Typical. Why the hell would they play Duke instead of us? That's gonna be a barn burner next weekend - two 1-9 teams duking it out (pun not intended, just worked out that way).
Of course, Duke's only win this year is over the Cats.
