The crescendo of indignation builds just like they do in KO's special comments. You can almost hear an Affleckian full-on rant coming on.
On a personal note, too late did I learn to appreciate the artistry of Santo's radio broadcasts.

Games that start in the middle of the night. Games that never end. Baseball-hating "umpires" umpiring baseball. A commissioner who changes the rules in the middle of the series, unbeknownst to the players. Inviting the Tampa Bay Jesus Rays to participate. And at the end of it all, a chance that the Philadelphia Phillies might win a championship.

High Court Rejects Fantasy Baseball Case

The Supreme Court today rejected a request to settle a dispute between Major League Baseball and fantasy baseball leagues that have grown rapidly on the Internet.
The justices, without comment, decided not to hear the appeal from baseball, leaving intact a lower court ruling that sports companies do not need the league's approval to use players' names and statistics.
The league said it and the players have the right to control the use of players' names in what the petition said has become a $1.5 billion fantasy sports industry. But lower courts said the Web sites had a First Amendment right to publish information about the players' performances on the field, just as the media do.
In fantasy leagues, participants "draft" players to form their own teams, and their success depends on the real-life performances of the players on the field.

Smiff is SHOCKED (cont'd)
So i ordered MLB Radio so i could listen to today's Phillies' opener (just as well, since Brett Myers totally sucks, and why isn't Hamels going anyway...), and guess what? Are you ready for this, are you sitting down, are you prepared to be SHOCKED?
