RUN FOR WARM CLIMATES! Ohhhhhhhhhhh, too late... we're all dead

Blizzard may be 'life threatening'

The National Weather Service has issued an unusually dire blizzard watch, calling the storm expected to start Tuesday over most of the area "dangerous, multifaceted and potentially life-threatening." Forecasts call for up to 18 inches of snow.

Sounds like the phokking changes that are about to happen are gonna be multifold...

one advantage of a cold climate

Texas Road Signs Warn Of Zombie Attack

Besides the usual rush hour traffic, commuters in Austin, Texas, Monday also had to deal with reports of an imminent zombie attack.

Two city construction road signs near the University of Texas were hacked to display the warnings, reported the Austin American-Statesman.

The electronic signs, which usually warn motorists of traffic detours, instead included warnings such as "Caution! Zombies Ahead!" and "Nazi Zombies! Run!!!"

The signs also instructed motorists to "run for cold climates."

Suit contesting Barack Obama's citizenship heads to U.S. Supreme Court Friday

The U.S. Supreme Court will consider Friday whether to take up a lawsuit challenging President-elect Barack Obama's U.S. citizenship, a continuation of a New Jersey case embraced by some opponents of Obama's election.

The meeting of justices will coincide with a vigil by the filer's supporters in Washington on the steps of the nation's highest court. . .

Legal experts say the appeal has little chance of succeeding, despite appearing on the court's schedule. Legal records show it is only the tip of an iceberg of nationwide efforts seeking to derail Obama's election over accusations that he either wasn't born a U.S. citizen or that he later renounced his citizenship in Indonesia.

Even Plutocrats are getting out

US time bomb
Even the wealthy hand back negative equity homes

Though banks can repossess and sell the homes of borrowers who stop paying their mortgages, under a legal quirk originating in the Great Depression of the 1930s, banks cannot easily pursue borrowers for any balance outstanding on the main mortgage on their homes.

Consequently, by walking away from her apartment, Ms Trainer has also walked away from the $200,000 loss on her property.

Her bank gets stuck with that.

Ms Trainer says she feels no moral obligation to go on paying a loan on a property that is going to go on losing her money. She says her friends support her decision.

With this kind of talk, let's see if we'll still have banks by the end of the year...

Incidentally, this may be a fad I should see into taking up. Just walk away and let the bank eat the loss? Stick it to them banks. That made it possible to buy my apartment. And it's furnishings. And a whole buncha crap before that.

It's the banks fault we're in this situation anyway, isn't it? They're the ones who lent any amount to anyone with a pulse. Then they conned other people into buying our mortgages to make a quick buck. They're the ones that should suffer. And it's not as if it's all roses if I walk away - my credit will be ruined for years. Which means I should be able to buy another house in about 6 months.

if it's not one thing, it's another

News item: Mohamed ElBaradei, the director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), predicts that unless present trends are reversed, there will be more than 25 nuclear weapons states in a few years, many of them unstable and prone to takeover by extremists. The likelihood of the use of nuclear weapons would then be greater than at any time during the Cold War.

This Just In...

Barack Obama may be the antichrist, "Mabus."

Or Abbas may be Mabus. Or Sampson. Mabus may not be the antichrist. Nostradamus died before being able to be clear about all his prophesies. Bible may not be entirely accurate. I had sausage skillet for breakfast.

Wait. If Barack is the antichrist, does that mean we should vote for him to bring the end times or not vote for him because he is the antichrist. I'm confused.
