Scott Kazmir going for MRI on left elbow
Scott Kazmir will go for an MRI on his left elbow this afternoon after feeling what "felt like a hyperextension" while warming up for Tuesday's intrasquad game.
Kazmir said he did well on strengths tests performed by Rays trainers after the incident and was encouraged that he didn't feel any further pain in the elbow, which was covered by a blue sleeve as he prepared to leave. "It felt like it just jammed a little bit, like a hyperextension," he said.
