Another indication that the world is ending

The Main Stream Media says it isn't.

Is Doomsday Coming? Perhaps, but Not in 2012

Apparently, the New York Times isn't impressed that the current 5,125 year cycle of 13 bak'tuns will end on December 20, 2012. (Did the Mayans have to make the world end right before Christmas? Why did they hate Jesus?)

Another remarked, "There's no rebuilding the GOP™ brand between now and Election Day. We need to bring [Democrats] down to our level."

"It's quite nice to see that he is just like us sometimes," says mom Jeanne Coley.

The educational quality of the country’s workers is starting to decline – not just relatively (because other countries are catching up and moving ahead) but also, for the first time, in absolute terms. Over the coming years, baby-boomers departing from the labour force will have better educational qualifications than the younger workers replacing them.

that Nuri -- what a kidder!

AMMAN (Reuters) - Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki said on Friday talks with the United States on a long-term security pact were at a stalemate because of U.S. demands that encroached on Iraq's sovereignty.
