No clue who he is, and yet it's anudder Smiff SHTEAL...

Warriors rookie Anthony Morrow followed up Saturday's 37-point eruption with 25 points on 8-of-12 shooting in Tuesday's win over the Blazers. Morrow made 5-of-5 free throws and four three-pointers to go with four rebounds and a steal. He logged 36 minutes and --along with C.J. Watson (10 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals)-- appears to have a steady 30+ minute role. Congratulations if you were quick enough to scoop him up.

Sorta coincides with a 15 point SURGE in one day for the Zeniths. I've now almost heard of most of my players. Not sure about that Beno guy. Marc Gasol - French Phokk? Also, i think i have someone on the Knicks.

speaking of SHTEALS

Matt Joyce hit his third homer and contributed a sac fly in the Tigers' loss on Thursday. Joyce has homered in three of his last four starts. With Gary Sheffield back in the DH spot, Joyce should play left field against all right-handers for now. He has to be grabbed in any AL-only leagues in which he remains available.

Another Corms Shteal

Jesus Flores reached three times and scored the only run of the game Thursday against the Mets.
He was still nearly the goat in the ninth inning after throwing the ball into center field on Carlos Beltran's steal attempt, putting the tying run on third with one out. His shaky glove played a role again just two minutes later, as he had a foul-tip strike three pop out of glove, keeping Carlos Delgado alive at the plate. Fortunately for Flores, Delgado went on to line into a game-ending double play. Flores definitely looks like the best offensive catcher in the Nationals' organization, but he has a ways to go on defense.

anudder Smiff in the rough...

Greg Smith yielded two runs in seven innings Thursday in a win over the Twins. Handed a big lead early on, Smith was able to cruise, requiring just 91 pitches to get through seven. It was his third quality start in four tries for Oakland, and the A's have recorded wins in all of his trips to the mound. It's going to be tough to send him down after Rich Harden returns.

I would be remiss if i didn't point out i SHTOLE him in rd. 32 of da FISK draft...

ABSOLUTELY SHTOLEN IN DA WELLNESS CENTER DRAFT

Johnny Cueto’s second big-league start wasn’t quite as his splendid debut, but he was again outstanding against the Brewers Tuesday night, allowing two runs over 6 1/3 innings while striking out eight. Cueto was nasty again, allowing just five hits and no walks. This kid looks to be the real deal.

Smiff does it in basketball, too...

Hedo Turkoglu's dream season continued on Wednesday when he hit 11-of-20 shots and seven threes for a career-high 39 points in a loss to the Wizards. Turkoglu added six boards, three assists, a steal and a block, but the Magic were unable to overcome a three-point night from Dwight Howard in the loss. Turkoglu may be the biggest fantasy SHTEAL this season, and will likely be a hot draft pick in the early rounds next season.

Skyscraper claimed!

He Guone! Smiff does it again...

Nets' rookie Sean Williams got NBA devotees buzzing with his recent play, and his first start of his career won't do anything to quite the excitement. In 35 minutes, Williams had a team-high 22 points, eight rebounds, two steals, two blocks, and made 8-of-10 free-throws. Pick up Sean Williams right now. He has more upside than a skyscraper, and will be gone from your waiver by tomorrow, if he isn't already.

Smiff getting a handle on dis ting

Jeff Green followed up his best performance of his young career with 17 points and eight rebounds on Sunday night against Detroit. Green hit all seven free throws tonight. He's scored 36 points the past two games - he had 37 in his first five games. Seattle has four games in Week 3 so consider Green as a possible No 3 forward/guard option. If you stole him in your draft, consider yourself a genius. Also, there must be some real dopes in that league.

Now in 5th, leaving Corms in the dust...

Smiff shteal: works in basketball, too

The Magic beat the Raptors behind 24 points, a career-high 15 rebounds, six assists, a steal, block and three 3-pointers from SF Hedo Turkoglu. He says he wants to be an All-Star this year and so far his play might get him there. Congratulations if you stole him in your draft or off the waiver wire.

And this was right out of the K-Mad playbook: the only reason i picked him was the funny name. Speakin' o' which, here's anudder shteal:

Zydrunas Ilgauskas had 18 points, 14 rebounds and four blocks as the Cavaliers lost a tough game in Utah on Wednesday. The fact he did this on a night when LeBron posted a monster triple-double is impressive. He hit 9-of-14 shots on the night and looks like a solid No. 1 fantasy center option this year. He was likely stolen in your draft, as he's racked up a double-double in four of five games this season, and hasn't had less than 12 boards in a single game.

already paying dividends

Can i play him at RB?

Vince Young did not throw an interception in the preseason. Young completed 11-of-16 passes for 96 yards and a touchdown in the Titans' preseason finale Thursday night. He's a top-ten QB in all formats.

anudder Fant SHTEAL

drafted in the last round, methinks...

Kelvim Escobar set a career-high by notching his 15th win of the season after holding the Blue Jays to one run in eight innings on Sunday. Escobar, who walked none and struck out five today, had previously set his career-high by going 14-11 with the Blue Jays in 1999. However, at 15-6 with a stellar 2.77 ERA, he's clearly having his career-year in 2007.

anudder Smiff SHTEAL

In his third and final start for Single-A Visalia, Max Scherzer pitched five scoreless innings and struck out nine on Sunday. Scherzer, quickly emerging as one of the game's top pitching prospects, is on his way to Double-A after posting a 0.53 ERA and a 30/2 K/BB ratio in 17 innings for Visalia.

dropping Tulowitski was dumb, but i did get Kid Dyn-O-Mite

J.J. Hardy had his second career grand slam, a sac fly and a walk as the Brewers crushed the Mets 12-3 on Saturday.
Such an incredible run. Hardy has five homers in eight games and 11 on the season. He totaled 14 homers over 500 at-bats in his first two years in the majors.
