avert your eyes

Brian Griese was shaken up on a sack at the end of the second quarter Sunday and was replaced by Rex Grossman.
Grossman abruptly botched his first snap from Olin Kruetz, then was sacked by Kirk Morrison on the next play. Griese was carted to the locker room. He could return to start the third quarter, but there have been recent indications the Bears might be considering turning back to Grossman anyway.

Gross. Man. Then threw a BOMB to Bernard Berrian (remember how I said he was going to BLOW UP this year?) for the winning score. Suck it Smiff.

Yes...maintaining their tie with the Eagles in the wild card race.

Way to stick it to da YOOOOGE haters Rex.

Oh yeah, i don't remember anything about Berrian. It also looks like his stats aren't any better than last year, and that was his SECOND TD of the year. Add "blowing up" to the list of things that ain't what they used to be...

Who da man?

Bears win a scintillating game. Who gets the credit?

Grossman (game-winning TD pass) 60.5%
Berrian (game-winning TD catch) 4.6 %
Ogunleye (3 sacks, forced fumble) 28.4%
Griese's shoulder (set up dramatic Rex return) 6.5%

(Results not scientific, but titanically inane)
