Most of county misses out on rainstorm, gets drizzle
SAN DIEGO: It drizzled on the San Diego Chargers last night and around the county, but not enough to quench the parched region. The rainstorm expected yesterday mostly bypassed the county and no more rain is expected this week, according to the National Weather Service. By sunset, Weather Service officials said not enough to measure had fallen except for 0.01 of an inch at Miramar and SeaWorld and a trace amount at Lindbergh Field. The drizzle continued steadily into the night in some spots of the county, but no official measurements were available. Forecaster/fortune teller Mark Moede said he did not see any rain in the foreseeable future.
