running government like a (French) business

Midway airport is set to become the first major airport in America to be privatised. Chicago has offered a long-term lease on the airport, which could bring in up to $3 billion. Aeroports de Paris, which operates Paris's Charles de Gaulle airport, has expressed an interest in operating Midway. The plan still has to be approved by a group of airlines whose flights account for at least 65% of landings at the airport. The city hopes to finalise a deal by the end of the year.
