CNN’s Beck on wildfire victims

"The devastating fires continue to ravage southern California. At least one person has been killed, dozens have been injured, and hundreds of thousands have been evacuated from their homes, including a quarter-million people in San Diego alone.

Overwhelmed firefighters said they lacked the resources to save many houses.

“We have more houses burning than we have people and engine companies to fight them,” San Diego Fire Captain Lisa Blake said. “A lot of people are going to lose their homes today.”

And to hear CNN’s Glenn Beck tell it, that’s all right, because those people aren’t any good anyway.

On the October 22 edition of his nationally syndicated radio program, host Glenn Beck stated, “I think there is a handful of people who hate America. Unfortunately for them, a lot of them are losing their homes in a forest fire today.”

I wonder what kind of psychosis leads a person to look at the California wildfires and think about the political ideologies of those who are suffering.

I guess that’s what makes Glenn Beck special."

Isn't America great? Any idiot can get not one, but two forums to spread this manure nationwide. Well, being a conservative helps. (CNN: not a liberal media outlet) Who is the hater? And who is tremendously ill-informed? I think i know what he's trying to say here: California is a blue state...therefore liberal...and so, naturally, everyone in the state hates America (which would be much more than a handful, and would this include Ah-Nuld?), AND deserve to have their houses burned down. Apparently, Beck has never traveled outside the underground lair he lives in, or, i don't know, read a book, a newspaper, looked at a map, or taken his head out of his ass. The largest fire in the state is in north San Diego County: rich: money: conservative: not liberal: and: i guess: not American-hating in Beck's world view. The area in north and east county is represented by three Republican congressmen: Duncan Hunter (crazy loon running for President), Darrell Issa (one of the leaders of the Governor recall vote), and Brian Bilbray (who replaced the disgraced fraud, Duke Cunningham). Camp Pendleton is also a huge Marines base in north county. Yeah, Glenn, sounds like a prime area of liberal, American-hating "Americans." If moron Beck meant Malibu, that's a very small area compared to the rest of the fire areas, but since celebrities live there, "news organizations" like CNN will lead with how Lindsay Lohan's rehab is being affected. This guy needs to be seriously pummeled.
