The freewheeling consortium blog about baseball, still hating George Bush, the weather, Chicago, live-blogging the End Times, the Chicago hot dog (NO KETCHUP!), inane rambling, and forever and always hating George Bush. ~ "Baseball is more than a game to me, it's a religion." -- Bill Klem, umpire. ~ "They're really behind ya around here..." -- Lee Elia, former manager ~

That's what he gets for picking Griese...
that mfer...
I'm going to be in SD on the evenings of the 7th-9th. Is it worthwhile to try and meet this Smitty?
Depends on how Da Eagles do next weekend...
Depends - who are you?
College suitemate of Corporal, friend of Sarge and fungster. Petty bourgeoisie.
He is also the owner of Fortress America, one of the many teams that is not behind you in the American Utopia Fantasy Football League.
Hey, only Facebook pronounces who is who's friend. Until you're on there, I don't think we can be considered friends...
Dat goes for K-Mad and the Smiff as well...
Actually, the Smiff will go ahead of da Fortress once the new standings come out...
Does da Ranger know Arnab? Just found out we live in the same neighborhood. Perhaps we can get together and ridicule Decker's fantasy skillz. Or just generally ridicule.
Facebook? How many more phokking websites do i have to join?
I don't think I know Arnab.
Well anyway, I'll be in downtown SD for three nights for an exciting "Asbestos Medicine Seminar." I'm hoping to be able to drag myself out for dinner instead of just shuttling between that and the hotel in the gaslamp district and figured it would be worthwhile to meet a fantasy sports legend.
Do you drink? That would help in any possible get-together...
Hmm. If you know a place that has cider, I could be persuaded to have one or two.
Cider? I'm not sure if dat counts. What do udders pfink? But deres an Irish pub place in the Gaslamp.
How many more websites? Well, there's Facebook, where you'll spend 2-3 weeks finding all the people you've ever known and trying to remember all the people who remember you. Like that Corms guy. Very addictive. Then there's LinkedIn, where you can create your very own professional network with people who have nothing to do with your work experience. Like that Fung Guy. Not quite as addictive. Also, check out Canadian Commandos. They're long winded and $#!+. Spades Marathon? Zzzzzzzzzz...
Smiff & Nobbers & Ranger out on da town? SD may have survived da fires, but can it survive 3 American Utopia members?
