Ryan Howard went 3-for-3 with his 26th and 27th homers, five RBI and two walks Saturday in the Phillies' 12-4 win over the Padres.
Howard is striking out more than Adam Dunn (SUCKS!) or anyone else in the majors, but he's on an absolute tear anyway, clubbing five homers in five games and eight so far this month. What's extremely impressive is that 18 of his homers have come on the road. He's batting just .222 with nine home runs at Citizens Bank Park. If he only played in a hitter's park like Petco...
