The freewheeling consortium blog about baseball, still hating George Bush, the weather, Chicago, live-blogging the End Times, the Chicago hot dog (NO KETCHUP!), inane rambling, and forever and always hating George Bush. ~ "Baseball is more than a game to me, it's a religion." -- Bill Klem, umpire. ~ "They're really behind ya around here..." -- Lee Elia, former manager ~

I had not heard of these VNR's. So a company can come up with a story that's basically an ad, then give it to a news station and they can run it as is, edit it however they want or re-voice it, and they call that journalism? Clearly The Onion & The Daily Show are in the wrong "fake news" business.
You can take a video made by a "publicist" and pretend that (s)he's a "reporter" for the news station? WTF?
I'm not sure why I'm really shocked at this, but I'm really shocked at this.
You really didn't know about VNR's Fungster?
Yeah, i thought Fung was a VNR.
He guy is very handsome I still love those funny turtles though.
