The starting dates for local Illinois hunting seasons:
• • Gray and fox squirrel: Now open.
• • Deer (archery): Now open.
• • Turkey (archery): Now open.
• • Skunk: Now open.
• • Turkey (shotgun): Oct. 20.
• • Rabbit: Nov. 3
• • Pheasant, partridge, quail: Nov. 3.
• • Deer (handgun, muzzleloader, shotgun): Nov. 16.

No prairie chickens?

I see Wabbit season starts Nov 3, but what about Duck season?

I also love how there's archery season and shotgun season. So the turkeys are sittin there sayin' "Don't worry son, it's just Archery season. Nobody shows up for that."
