The freewheeling consortium blog about baseball, still hating George Bush, the weather, Chicago, live-blogging the End Times, the Chicago hot dog (NO KETCHUP!), inane rambling, and forever and always hating George Bush. ~ "Baseball is more than a game to me, it's a religion." -- Bill Klem, umpire. ~ "They're really behind ya around here..." -- Lee Elia, former manager ~

A-Rod's already won. He got TX & Da Yanks to pay him ridiculous amounts of money. Besides, you expected him to drive in 10 runs for a 13-12 victory? Stick to your Phils. They'll be done in a couple of days, and then you can go to yelling at everyone else.
I think Smiff was mocking the people who say that A-Rod is the reason the Yankees haven't won the Series in 6 years.
Whatev Corms. At least the Yanks have boiled it down to one factor. Cubbies have the Curse, Billy Goat, Bartmann, changes every time. What's it gonna be this year?
I think we have a winner for this year: "Apparently Brandon Webb was doing some sneaky things with a dark spot on the bill of his cap on Wednesday."
Hey, stoooooopid is as stooooopid does. Or sumthin.
I think it's awesome that with all the HD technology and multiple cameras all over the place pitchers can still cheat. I predict the cubbies will be busted first...
