Keeping the Dark People down (cont)

I'm at home, watching the CNN. They're asking the question "What impact will Hurricane Dean have on the price of oil?" It may have killed people in the Caribbean, on the Yucatan, but who gives a phokk? We want to know what happens when it hits the Mexican oil wells. US Oil wells? Don't worry about those, those are way north. Well, oil prices are going down. The analysts say we dodged a bullet. Thank God. Now, can we send a fraction of the billions saved to the victims of the hurricane?

Earth and Wind Love Oil

Oil, oil, oil.
We love it all the time!
It might seem kind of like grime
But in the end it's the new soil!

You sit there hoity toity like
About loss of life and limb...
frankly we think that's a little dim!
Why don't you just go ride a bike.

Oil, oil, oil!
We love it all the time!
It might just seem like grime
But in the end it's the new soil!

You bleeding hearts are all the same
You sit there perched like birds
Telling us we're a bunch of turds
But I love my oil-burning SUV's and you're lame!

Oil, oil, oil!
Love it like a drug!
Fill up my mug
I'll drink it at a boil!

Talking about poor people
Like they're special and they're cool
But really they just stink and probably drool!
Keep that talk for the steeple
Where other people will play the fool!

Because oil is for me,
And it is not for them.
They're too poor to live
So the hurricane finished 'em!

But hark, where is the oil?
Does it still...Is it still...?!?

Oh what's that site!
Way up in the dark gray sky!
Could it be gushing oil up so high!
Oh Oil you lived! Others will moulder in eternal night!

But oil, oil, oil!
You live to fight again,
No winds will stop you
You are the train that feeds the trains
And cars, factories and airplanes!

Yea for oil!
Yea for us!
Oil at $71 a barrel!
It's our God-given right!

Trust Corms to turn a Sarge poem into a pithy one liner.
