K-Mad Kills (kont'd)

Devil Rays optioned RHP Chad Orvella to Triple-A Durham.
Orvella had been scored upon in seven straight appearances, making it hard to believe he lasted as long as he did. Still exhibiting very little in the way of command, he gave up 16 runs -- 13 earned -- in eight innings.

Back in Double-A, Greg Miller walked four and gave up a hit to the other batter he faced in his relief appearance Sunday.
Miller got off to a pretty good start at Triple-A Las Vegas despite a high walk total, but he completely lost control of the strike zone last month and the Dodgers had little choice but to demote him. Since he's just 22, the team will show plenty of patience in trying to get him turned around.

Ben Johnson is expected to be sent to Triple-A New Orleans on Monday when the Mets activate Shawn Green from the disabled list.
Johnson hit .185 in 27 at-bats during his nine games with the Mets. He will be back later in the season.
