here's K-Mad's pick - you can pay me in DC in beer...

In his first major league appearance since April 2004, Jason Stanford struck out seven while allowing one run over six innings in a defeat of the Marlins on Thursday. It's been a long road back for Stanford, who underwent Tommy John surgery in July 2004 and was removed from the Indians' 40-man roster last September. The 30-year-old isn't expected to remain in the rotation following Jake Westbrook's return from the DL. He could be used as a reliever, but it might be for the best if he gets a chance to become a fifth starter elsewhere.
