Eric Milton will undergo Tommy John surgery Friday and miss the rest of the season.
Milton is in the final season of his three-year, $25.5 million contract and it's hard to imagine him returning to Cincinnati, so his Reds career ends at 16-27 with a 5.83 ERA in 66 starts.
