The Padres have reportedly come to terms with Brett Tomko, who was designated for assignment by the Dodgers on Aug. 24.
Smiff called this one. GMs just can't help themselves. If this is the best the Padres could do, they should have just kept Fatty Wells. At least he used to be a good pitcher.
