This is a very nice little cartoon Smiff posted. This whole business about Republicans being fiscally conscientious and Democrats being out of control - when there is now more than a quarter century of running history that says EXACTLY the opposite, without exception - says so much about how brain-dead our politics are.

"By his 2nd term he should pass the trillion mark..." That sounds snarky now, but when he gets there a year or two early it won't seem so funny. Wait... yes it will... I keep forgetting that I'm learning to love entropy.
