someone want to explain dis?

Corms sez: "Smiff is gonna run outa games by the All-Star break."

Under settings, max games played is 82. Seems like we all past that figure a long time ago.

So what is the actual max. games which no one told me about, and isn't under settings? Is Decker running this league, too?

Looks like Fung's plan to foil Smiff from finishing ahead of everyone is out of the bag.

By the All-Star break is hyperbole, but if you open the maximum games link on your team's page, you're on pace to exceed the maximum games at every position

Looks like the old Fung bait-and switch.

Well, i'm glad dis stupid rule isn't in the baseball league. I give Decker points for dat.

One upside to dis is it forces me to bench the gawdawful, brick-throwing Ben Gordon.

You do have the same rule in Baseball as I recall, it's just that there's almost no way of getting over 162 games at any position, unless you have Ripken at all positions and you rotate in your bench on off days for your regular guys. But yes, each position has 82 games max. It's always been that way. Dat's why, if you look back, Briggs posted an IM conversation we had talking about this very issue.

You can set up the baseball league so there's a max number of innings pitched (also, a minimum number). I seem to recall that was used in one of my leagues.

Well, i'm still sticking to my convictions dat someone (Fung) is cooking the books to keep someone (me) from finishing ahead of him (see: darky keeping whitey down).

Da under ting is who do i bench with all my All-Stars? Gordon goes w/o saying. Jeff Green. But now Sean Williams is starting and blocking everything in site. It's a plethora of riches...

I know that problem - the maximum thing. If they play until the year 2036 I think I might have to sit Acie Law tomorrow...

So i sit Ben & Beno and they both have nice games. I hate this game.

I can't believe you let Corms psych you out like that. Not a good sign for this weekend then...
