a proposal that works for everyone
A poll on channel 7 during the Bears game revealed that Bears fans who respond to polls on channel 7 regard Donovan McNabb as the team's most likely starting quarterback in 2008. If true, the Eagles will need a quarterback, and Grossman will need a team... just sayin...

McNabb won't leave. If he does leave, the Bears won't pay enuff 2 snag him from everyone else. If the Bears pay up, remember that Chicago is where QBs go to die. If he miraculously does well, the D will let in 35 ppg.
Besides, I'm sure the Eagles would rather bring back Ty Detmer than take Rex the Hex.
I think they would bring back Randall Cunningham, Ron Jaworski, Koy Detmer, Roman Gabriel, Sonny Jurgensen, Rodney Peete, Bubby Brister, Jim "Ass#@le" McMahon, Norm Sneed, and Norm van Brocklin before Rexxy.
Oh, so you guys have had lotsa QB's too? Then you know our pain...
I'm just mentioning the ones i remember. There are lots of others. And they still have A.J. "INT" Feeley and Kevin "Corn on the" Kolb.
Don't worry Smitty. Your chuckles of derision will have a manic quality when he plays for you...
