There is going to be a tv show on ESPN (starting Monday) about the 1977 New York Yankees called "The Bronx Is Burning". Sure, it will probably suck, but i'll be tuning to watch Oliver Platt (as George Steinbrenner) and John Turturro (as Billy Martin!!) chewing up the scenery.
No one is listed as playing Lou Piniella, and though he is a bit old i would go with Mark Ruffalo in fiery-mode.
