after the Iraq War, the dumbest idea ever

"I know from an owner's perspective, this is a gold mine. To have a World Series Weekend, WSW, I think it will create a stage that the game has not seen."--Scott Boras, on his proposed World Series Weekend concept in which a nine-game series would begin with two games at a neutral site.

I am sure that nobody cared more about the Tigers-Cardinals series than the folks in San Diego, who couldn't even be bothered to turn the television on for it. Also, haven't we already tried playing World Series games on weekends? Also, is Scott Boras a gigantic, matter-devouring Black Hole of a yooooge @ss#ole, or is it just me?

Also: "I know from an owner's perspective..." Was that a joke? I missed it at first. Good one.
