Let's remember who was in charge of protecting the American people on September 11, 2001. With a Democrat in the White House, a series of coordinated attacks was detected and prevented in the weeks leading up to December 31, 1999. Democrats have demonstrated their ability to protect this country. Your assertion to the contrary is worse than a lie, it is a filthy smear. Is this the kind of campaign we can look forward to from you? I expected better.
