The Final Outrage

Buffalo loses to UConn 38-20 in the International Bowl in Toronto (the MAC now losing in foreign countries), to bring their conference bowl record to 0-4.

Meanwhile, after Ohio St. loses to Texas, the Big Ten will finish at 1-6 (and that doesn't even include Michigan, who sucked so bad they didn't qualify for a bowl).

Resolved: the Midwest needs to take a break from college football next year.

One more outrage to go: Ball State vs. Tulsa in the Bankrupt Corporate Apocalypse in the Middle of January (Why?) Bowl.

When all these sponsors go out of business we'll be back down to 8 or 10 bowl games next year, and we won't have to go through this embarrassment for everyone involved again.

I could go back and document how well the MAC was doing in bowl games in the Pennington/Leftwich/Rothlisberger years, but I just don't really give a s#i+ anymore...

Tulsa has the no.2 offense in scoring and total yards in the nation and Ball State will be without its Head Coach/de facto Defensive Coordinator, who already FLED for a better job, by the way...

Hey, where's the love for the hawkeyes. They alone have kept the Big10 reputation burnished. Iowa kicked Steve Spurrier's Gamecocks. Go hawkeyes

And Smiff should know that the only "eyes" of value are the hawkeyes, not the buckeyes.

Ok, the Blowhawks rest firmly atop the big pile of manure that is Big Ten football.

And why couldn't the Mildcats play the Gamecocks?
