If I have the entire sequence of bizarre events correctly -- and admittedly, it is confusing -- one team scored to go ahead, and then the other team not only tied the game, but subsequently scored AGAIN to take the lead away from the first team to score. I can only surmise that there was a substantial amount of rioting afterward.
Almost. Da Czechs (or is it Checks) scored to get ahead. They then scored again to get more ahead. Then the Turkeys (or is it, no, that's funny already) scored to make a game of it. Then they scored again to tie the game, on a really crappy error by supposedly the best goalie in the game. Then they scored yet again to take the lead. And then held out over the last few minutes to win the game. Turkey - the only team to have come back from being down to win a game so far in Euro 2008, and they dun it twice.
What happened in baseball, someone hit a homer? Pah! There've been billions of dose. Goals, now dose are rare indeedilidoodidly. 5 in a game is like, well, winning the lottery. And I think the Dutch (Netherlands if you're nasty) beat the Frogs (French if you're PC) 4-1, so there have been 2 lotteries so far. But, of course, I can't watch because they decided to play all da games in Yurupean prime time, and they make me work then. If only we had a golf tournament lousing everything up...
