Warriors rookie Anthony Morrow followed up Saturday's 37-point eruption with 25 points on 8-of-12 shooting in Tuesday's win over the Blazers. Morrow made 5-of-5 free throws and four three-pointers to go with four rebounds and a steal. He logged 36 minutes and --along with C.J. Watson (10 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals)-- appears to have a steady 30+ minute role. Congratulations if you were quick enough to scoop him up.

Sorta coincides with a 15 point SURGE in one day for the Zeniths. I've now almost heard of most of my players. Not sure about that Beno guy. Marc Gasol - French Phokk? Also, i think i have someone on the Knicks.

Smiff is back and he has this off-shore drilling thing all figured out

It's simple: states filled with dumb-ass crackers who voted for George W. Bush twice and will most likely vote for John W. McBush will get the off-shore drilling. So that will most likely be the entire coastline of Alaska and from Brownsville to Norfolk. And none of this "150 miles from the coast" bullshit. I say, a mile from the coast with an oil rig every mile. Even if it's shown there's no oil there, you get a fucking oil rig there anyway.

Meanwhile, the northeast and from San Diego to Seattle will remain pristine because these places weren't dumb enough to vote for the troglodyte homunculus and the guy who forgets to put on his pants.

Matt Joyce hit his third homer and contributed a sac fly in the Tigers' loss on Thursday. Joyce has homered in three of his last four starts. With Gary Sheffield back in the DH spot, Joyce should play left field against all right-handers for now. He has to be grabbed in any AL-only leagues in which he remains available.

anudder Smiff in the rough...

Greg Smith yielded two runs in seven innings Thursday in a win over the Twins. Handed a big lead early on, Smith was able to cruise, requiring just 91 pitches to get through seven. It was his third quality start in four tries for Oakland, and the A's have recorded wins in all of his trips to the mound. It's going to be tough to send him down after Rich Harden returns.

I would be remiss if i didn't point out i SHTOLE him in rd. 32 of da FISK draft...

Johnny Cueto’s second big-league start wasn’t quite as his splendid debut, but he was again outstanding against the Brewers Tuesday night, allowing two runs over 6 1/3 innings while striking out eight. Cueto was nasty again, allowing just five hits and no walks. This kid looks to be the real deal.

Hedo Turkoglu's dream season continued on Wednesday when he hit 11-of-20 shots and seven threes for a career-high 39 points in a loss to the Wizards. Turkoglu added six boards, three assists, a steal and a block, but the Magic were unable to overcome a three-point night from Dwight Howard in the loss. Turkoglu may be the biggest fantasy SHTEAL this season, and will likely be a hot draft pick in the early rounds next season.

Hakim Warrick* had 23 points and eight rebounds on 11-of-17 shooting in a second consecutive start for the Grizzlies on Wednesday. That's two solid lines in a row, and while we don't trust coach Marc Iavaroni, Warrick should be picked up in most formats. Then just hope he keeps it going after the break.

Nets' rookie Sean Williams got NBA devotees buzzing with his recent play, and his first start of his career won't do anything to quite the excitement. In 35 minutes, Williams had a team-high 22 points, eight rebounds, two steals, two blocks, and made 8-of-10 free-throws. Pick up Sean Williams right now. He has more upside than a skyscraper, and will be gone from your waiver by tomorrow, if he isn't already.
