Methinks what will be more important is who will CATCH home run #250,000. Dat person may make a boatload...the schmuck who hits it (let's go with, why not? Rick Ankiel) will be but a footnote in history. Who hit #100,000? 200,000?

There it is. I think Dusty has finally actually completed the circle. He has become the best Dusty he can be.

Dusty is a whole new stupid

He called the bunt because that's what he does. He bunts. And he sticks with the vets. And he doesn't believe in pitch counts or getting on base or any of that nonsense. He believes in the bunt, the "smart" play that creates openings and holes and gets the other team thinking. He hasn't had a thought in his head since 1979 and he is the goddamn worst.
