I sense (perhaps wrongly) that people would hate me (more) if I talked fantasy-basketball trash like Smiff talks fantasy-baseball trash. Whereas, I don't think Smiff's propensity for fantasy trash talk lowers anyone's view of him. I'm not quite sure what that means, but there it is...

I feel Briggs should actually gloat MORE...

I never hear him gloat. He'll discuss a player he picked up - but it's very player centered. The man builds a team year after year - like the aforementioned Smiff. Smiff is there every year too.
