The Chicago area emerged from its first wintry cocktail of snow and sleet Sunday after a weekend storm that began with snow, followed by sleet and freezing rain, before changing finally to rain only, in the precise quantities and at the exact hours as forecast by Tom "sKILLy" Skilling, WGN and Chicago Tribune meteorologist and soothsayer.
"Everything was revealed exactly as I prophesied," sKILLy said. "In my line of work, you put up with your share of doubters, haters, whiners, and naysayers, but when you're on top of your game, none of that affects you," he said.
"Smiff can bite me," he added.

"“Even a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day."--Smiff
Judging by the Bears' game, it almost looks as cold as it is here today.
Weather in San Diego, sez the internets:
Now -- Fair, 56, calm
Mon -- Sunny, 71
Tue -- Sunny, 77
Wed -- Mostly sunny, 74
That "mostly" qualifier worries me...
That's what i'm saying--FIFTY SIX!--brrrrrrrrr...still, haven't turned the heat on yet.
You cleverly failed to mention the "forecast" for next weekend:
Friday...Rain likely. Highs 61 to 66.
Saturday...Showers likely. Highs 59 to 64.
Sunday...Partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers. Highs 60 to 65.
Monday...Armageddon.
