The freewheeling consortium blog about baseball, still hating George Bush, the weather, Chicago, live-blogging the End Times, the Chicago hot dog (NO KETCHUP!), inane rambling, and forever and always hating George Bush. ~ "Baseball is more than a game to me, it's a religion." -- Bill Klem, umpire. ~ "They're really behind ya around here..." -- Lee Elia, former manager ~

Look, on 9/11 the forces of evil arranged themselves against one man. Me. And I took them on. I fired machine gun round after machine gun round from the control center located on the 85th floor of the Empire State Building as terrist after terrist lined up against me.
Nobody else did this. I kept my city safe and calm as I demonstrated on live television how to break the neck of a tarrist and use their blood to make a survival stew.
Over the next several weeks I led a contingent of New Yorkers into the woods where we lived, without fire to tip off the enemy, as we invaded various hovels they had infiltrated. At times I wondered if it was worth it, my top aide, Bernard Kerik, would often sit with me deep into the night as I looked off into the void, wondering what the next step was. Sometimes I would wander around in the night, in disguise, and let those who had night watch get a little extra sleep. I'll never forget little Nick Favo of Woodside, Queens, I think he suspected it was me, and he said "We're doing the right thing, right sir? I mean, I don't know what's right or wrong anymore, I don't know how we found ourselves in this mess."
"Don't worry," I said, "we'll help the administration and then they'll invade the company, or country, involved in this and make a leveraged buy-out. We'll have our oil and our freedom, but right now, just be quiet, and help kill the enemy." Poor Nick, I don't know what happened to him in the following months.
Wherever you are Nick Favo, you remember 9/11 and I remember 9/11. We know about sacrifice. What it is to want, to see our friends carted off by hostile troops and taken God knows where, we know what it is to fight for our streets. We know what it is to say a bunch of things for the television so everybody feels better, no matter what is really happening. We struggled together Nick. NICK!!! NICK!!!! NICK!!!! NICK!!!
9/11! Semper Fi Soldier!
You let anybody else lead into the woods of northern New York and see who comes out alive! You put a Democrat like Obama in charge and everybody will come out DEAD!!! DEAD!!! 9/11 ALL OVER AGAIN!!!
Thank you Dick and George for letting me continue the fight. Your light inspires me, your word and my word join, and we are whole.
Now what was the question again? Something about how I worship the Great Lord and Savior Jesus H. Christ? I do, I love Jesus and I'm not ashamed.
