Since the old one fell off the main board due to Smiff's weekend exploits:
Walk off home run.
Huh? This statement starts with “walk” and ends with “run.” Make up your mind. Either it’s a run off home run or a home walk.
Calling a long pass in football a “home run ball.”
Sorry. Can’t mix your sports metaphors. By that logic, a two yard swing pass is a bunt.
Then there's the old Marv Albert special - "serves us a facial." That's just plain dirty - no way that should be on network TV. But of course, it's a man talking about sex and not a woman showing a boobie.

There must be many idiotic cricket sayings. Probably too many to list here...
Smiff makes an excellent point. I bet some of them refer to tea time.
A walk-off home run in Japan is a "sayonara" home run. We could have used this perfectly enjoyable expression, but no, we had to come up with our own really stupid one.
