Double-A Erie's Jair Jurrjens struck out 10 in seven innings Thursday against Harrisburg.
He allowed one run on four hits. Jurrjens has been mentioned in connection with the Nationals recently, and it was Washington's farm club that he was facing last night, probably giving the Nationals an even better impression of him. The Tigers would likely be asked to part with him in a deal for Chad Cordero or Jon Rauch.
