The freewheeling consortium blog about baseball, still hating George Bush, the weather, Chicago, live-blogging the End Times, the Chicago hot dog (NO KETCHUP!), inane rambling, and forever and always hating George Bush. ~ "Baseball is more than a game to me, it's a religion." -- Bill Klem, umpire. ~ "They're really behind ya around here..." -- Lee Elia, former manager ~

Cheating is whatever the irrational majority decrees it to be.
What is least legitimate:
1) Hitting 757 HRs on steroids against pitchers on steroids (Bonds)
2) Hitting 714 HRs when blacks couldn't play (Ruth)
3) Winning 314 games while using sandpaper, tacks, KY-jelly, the kitchen sink &tc. (G. Perry)
I would say 2 although I take a dimmer view on 3 since there wasn't much Ruth could do by himself about segregation.
