And justifying the faith...
B.J. Upton hit a homer to give the Rays their only runs in a 2-1 win over the Red Sox on Wednesday.
Tampa Bay would have been swept at home if it lost this one. Upton's shot off Daisuke Matsuzaka was his 18th of the year. It was a go-ahead blast only because he cut down David Ortiz at the plate with the Red Sox up 1-0 in the fifth.
You have to like this team's future if they can find a park that doesn't look like the inside of a to-go container.

Yeah, what about Edwin Jackson breaking out all over place?
You mean Maddog Edwin Jackson?
Teams in 10th place can take these chances. Tomko is available...
You should pick him up then because the team with the most proven veterans wins.
