Jonny Gomes went 2-for-2 with a double and two walks in Thursday's win over the Mariners.One of the walks was intentional. Apparently, the rest of the league has more respect for Gomes' ability than Joe Maddon does. Still, with Cliff Floyd out, it's possible Gomes will get to play regularly anyway. He's hitting .294/.381/.706 in 17 at-bats.
