Yo HATERS (K-Mad): KRAM IT!!!
Oliver Perez (Hummingbird) spun 7 1/3 scoreless innings against the Yankees on Friday to record his seventh win of the season. Perez wasn't terribly efficient, throwing just 66-of-117 pitches for strikes. However, he was able to get pitches over the plate later in counts and he walked just three batters while yielding five hits. Perez departed with a runner on second and one out in the eighth, but Pedro Feliciano retired Bobby Abreu and Joe Smith got Alex Rodriguez to ground out to end the rally. The outing lowered Perez's ERA back down below 3.00, to 2.93.
