Alderman's aide gave himself a parking pass
Why is this news? Why get a job in government if you can't get around all the "inconveniences" the "taxpayer" has to go through?

I'm sure this isn't as odious as it might appear on the surface.
Asked about the placard behind his car's windshield, Yonan replied that he did not think he had done anything wrong.
"Nobody gave it to me. I made it," he told the Tribune. "I've worked for the alderman's office for 25 years. We're so busy in the office, sometimes you forget to put the money in. The sign is there for the meter maids to know. There's no problem with that."
See? There was a perfectly sound explanation all along.
