Dat's right, Smiff will be in Chicago in July for ALA. Probably arriving the 7th or 8th and staying through until like 17th or 18th. I should be staying in the loop in a hotel from the 10th-13th with a couple colleagues. But the rest of the time I AM ALL YOURS. Who wants to get in on this excellent s#i+ blowing up (soon) opportunity and put Smiff up for a few days?

Aren't I out of the country that month? Looking at the calendar, nope, that trip's more recent. Like, next week. Fung's 2nd bedroom is a sauna in July (how is that different from any other month? - ed), what with the western exposure and more importantly a wall unit ac that looks and runs like it was installed when the building was built. The replacement portable ac unit is how you say, ah yes, loud. So Smiff has been warned.
You may want to check Corms - I hear he's gonna be moving into a fabulous house only a few blocks away after its tenant, who used to be a big shot in IL, sells it for peanuts to defend himself against the Feds after his "move to Costa Rica" plan fell thru.
I'll take that as a yes. Guess i'll have to sleep "au natural" because of the hotness.
