Dere's snow out dere nowz.
February 21, 2009 11:52 AM | 3 Comments | UPDATED STORY
The snow that started to fall on the Chicago area after midnight may be the first of several inches of the stuff to accumulate this weekend.
By 6 a.m., a storm system had passed over parts of northeastern Illinois and northwest Indiana, dumping snow as it moved northeast. A second snowstorm hit the area as well in mid-morning -- putting new accumulation onto roads that had already been cleared once.
But that storm too has passed -- and there's nothing more on the radar right now.
So the coast is clear -- you can get out the snow shovel and clean that driveway with no fear of more snow immediately.
Update, 3:30 PM - It's been snowing for the last three hours. Not that it matters to me - I just pass it along to please Smiff.
