The freewheeling consortium blog about baseball, still hating George Bush, the weather, Chicago, live-blogging the End Times, the Chicago hot dog (NO KETCHUP!), inane rambling, and forever and always hating George Bush. ~ "Baseball is more than a game to me, it's a religion." -- Bill Klem, umpire. ~ "They're really behind ya around here..." -- Lee Elia, former manager ~

Fung completely agrees. He plays on a number of golf courses on his Wiiiiiiii. No maintenance required. No green fees. No tee times reserved weeks in advance. So freaking easy. Everyone else can do that too.
On da udder hand, who's to say that spending money on recreational facilities doesn't benefit the economic conditions of a community? Would Chicago be better off without the museum campus because the money could have been spent on a bridge?
Speaking of bridges, does anyone know if the bridge to nowhere is shovel ready?
I expect Obama to roll his eyes at these efforts to control pork, much as he did at McCain's.
