Bush calls for offshore drilling
Wait, didn't we invade Iraq so we could get oil over there? So we wouldn't have to get oil over here? Is this a tacit admission of failure?

That's not a surprise, and neither is this:
on the same day John McCain FLIP-FLOPPED and now says he's for off-shore drilling, as well as just about anywhere else (Grand Canyon, John?), he gives a speech on the perils of global warming. So, we're going to combat global warming while opening up new avenues for oil development, leading to an increase in gas comsumption, leading to more greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
Does Smiff have dis right?
He should just have us all write down what we want, then he can pick up our piece of paper and say "I will" and then read from there. Even if what he says contradicts what he said for the guy he talked to just before. That would be far more honest.
