hoaxers perpetrating greatest hoax ever perpetrated going to elaborate lengths to perpetrate hoax
The warmer climate has made us genetically impervious to irony:
"The legendary Northwest Passage, a sea route from the Atlantic to the Pacific above North America, is now mostly ice-free in the summer. That opens up tempting commercial possibilities for shippers and for drillers seeking vast oil and gas fields under the Arctic Ocean."
Who would have guessed that when we melted the permafrost with greenhouse gases, we'd find out that the thing buried under the permafrost is a greenhouse gas? Funny, funny stuff.
