anudder tough break for Wootz
Kerry Wood (shoulder) pitched a scoreless inning Thursday in his third appearance for the Rookie AZL Cubs. Wood walled one hit and struck out one while throwing just seven pitches. He reportedly touched 95 mph in the inning. He's expected to make at least one more appearance in the Arizona League before moving up a couple of levels. And then he will be humanely destroyed.
I know. But I still believe.
